Rock Island Kiwanis College Scholarship
For over 100 years, the Kiwanis Club of Rock Island has been serving children. One such way is through our Kiwanis Club of Rock Island Scholarship program, where traditionally $3,000 in NON-RENEWABLE College Scholarship funds have been awarded annually to students committed to furthering their education by attending an accredited college or vocational training institution of higher learning.APPLICATION PERIOD: Jan 31st - March 1st
Scholarships and Grants are awarded in April of each year. Applications are due no later than the first Friday in March each year.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR KIWANIS GRANT REQUESTS
PRIORITIES and VALUES
1. Is there a perceived need for the Funds requested?
2. What is the impact on the public, the project itself and to the Club if this request is Funded?
3. Projects serving Rock Island residents will have priority over other funding requests.
4. Priorities for funding are:
- Children & Youth
- Literacy
- Economically Challenged
- Serving Developmentally Disabled
- Health & Wellness
Grants are awarded in April of each year. Applications are due no later than the first Friday in March each year.
